The face behind Caitlyn Michaele Photo and local resident to the stunning South Coast of NSW. When I'm not documenting your beautiful families or special milestones, you can find me in the water, running, reading my favourite book or chasing after my 3 wild kiddos.
Why I do this
It's pretty simple really, I want you to have photos you can feel when you look at them. Your personal story deserves to be remembered--beautiful and with intention. Photography is more than just taking photos; it’s about capturing the connection, the chaos, the stillness, and everything in between. Wherever you’re at in life, I'm here to freeze those moments in time so you can look back and relive it again and again. Growing bumps, wild toddlers, grandparents, intimate elopements, I capture it all.
How I work
I'm the most cruisey and relaxed gal, and my work reflects this. There's no stress when it comes to my sessions -- more time for laughing and making new mems with your family. Gone are the days of stiff poses and forced smiles. I won't ask you to say "cheese." Instead, we'll go for an adventure; a walk to search for crabs or the prettiest shell on the beach, running wild on the sand, jumping into rock pools. I'll gently guide where needed but for the most part I let you and your fam tell your own story while I document in the background.
Fun Facts about me
I believe salt water usually heals most things, which is why I jump in the ocean most days. I LOVE fantasy and romance novels (iykyk). If I don't have my camera in hand I'm usually sipping on an iced chai, training for some type of running event, driving my kids to their many sporting commitments or just soaking up the sun. Living on the south coast means if I'm not working we're usually on some type of weekend adventure to nearby coastal towns. I'm always pumping some type of music and hanging with mates in my down time.
